This is quite a story...a young 23 year-old and a couple of other survivors of a plane crash near Resolute, Nunavut, are telling their story. All three survivors were girls; the other two were sisters, a seven-year-old and her younger sister.
There was thick fog, and the survivor says how the plane just seemed to fall apart in mid-air. That must have been the result of crashing into the side of a mountain in the fog.
Fortunately for them, the Canadian Forces were fairly close by, training for an air disaster. Would not have wanted to know what would have happened if they had not been there. Likely, the three young girls would have perished from exposure.
How sad for the families who lost family members in that crash.
At the same time I can only imagine the relief of the mother whose two very young daughters were saved.
