If you are a cooker and lover of dried beans, you will get really excited about trying out an electric pressure cooker. Even when I used a stove-top pressure cooker to prepare beans for the last 20 years, I always pre-soaked my beans. The instructions for my electric pressure cooker tell me that I don't have to pre-soak. Well this is very exciting, and I am going to try it out. In fact, I will convert all my old trusted and true recipes to electric pressure cooker recipes by following the instructions on the link in this sentence. Today I have company coming over and with my 8 plus 2 more I will have 10 mouths to feed. I will be scouring the net in the next few minutes for a tasty recipe using pinto beans. That's what I am in the mood for. Maybe cooked with lots of onion and garlic. We'll have to see what comes up. Sometimes I like to cook the pinto beans and then later mash them and fry in oil for my own homemade re-fried beans, but this time I want something different.Tomorrow I will share what recipe I used, and how it turned out, so stay tuned...
