Tea Tree Oil for Healing

If I could only have one item in my first aid kit, it would be tea tree oil. It is a natural infection fighter, antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial. Did you know that tea tree oil is effective to use on nail fungus, athlete's foot, ringworm, acne, dandruff and many bug infestations including mites, lice and scabies?

Tea tree oil is soothing and disinfecting. It can penetrate into lower layers of skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties, and also disinfects. Tea tree oil is a natural analgesic (pain killer). It helps to heal wounds (cicatrizant), and aids the skin in the formation of scar tissue in the healing process.

For Uses of Tea Tree Oil click on the underlined text. Most drug stores now carry tea tree oil, bottled under different brand names. Read the labels and buy a high quality product. Pure tea tree oil is best but you can also get ointments with a percentage of oil in them.
