Halloween is approaching. It's the time of year for pumpkins, costumes, candy, and parties. Problem is, halloween is my most un-favorite holiday. I know, I know... I'm a party-pooper. But this is just the way it is. I don't like candy (love chocolate though!) and I think buying costumes is a colossal waste of money. I just tolerate halloween.

Halloween is on Sunday this year. That makes it an even bigger groaner for me. Yes I know I am a halloween scrooge.
I did buy a face-painting kit for $5. There's enough paint in it to paint all 6 kids faces. I told them that it was my contribution to their halloween costumes and they had to come up with the rest of their costume themselves. They could either buy it with their newspaper delivery earnings, or find clothing/supplies around the house to fashion one out of. I would even help with sewing if needed. (Aren't I generous?)
Well, happy halloween! I can't wait until it's over again for one more year...
